Laundry Attendant Wanted - customer service - job employment

We are a full-service laundromat looking for a dependable, customer-focused individual to join our team. This position combines cleaning, customer service, and front-counter responsibilities to help ensure our customers have an excellent experience.

Schedule: 5 days a week

Hours: 12:30 PM – 9:00 PM (30-minute Lunch Break)

Responsibilities

1. Facility Cleaning & Maintenance

-Clean and maintain floors, folding tables, seating areas, restrooms, and customer spaces.

-Wipe down washers, dryers, soap dispensers, and machine surfaces.

-Empty trash receptacles and replace liners.

-Sweep, mop, and sanitize the facility throughout the shift.

-Clean lint traps, filters, and lint collectors.

-Organize laundry carts and keep the laundromat neat and presentable.

-Restock cleaning supplies and notify management when inventory is low.

-Report maintenance, equipment, or safety issues promptly.

2. Customer Service

-Assist customers with carrying laundry and locating available machines.

-Help customers understand and use our laundromat card system for operating washers and dryers.

-Answer questions and assist customers throughout the laundry process.

-Troubleshoot basic customer issues related to machine usage and payment cards.

-Provide friendly, professional service at all times.

3. Order Processing

-Accept wash-and-fold, laundry, and dry-cleaning orders.

-Enter customer orders accurately into our POS (Point of Sale) system.

-Tag and organize incoming orders.

-Process customer pickups and ensure completed orders are returned to the correct customer.

-Follow company procedures when inspecting and receiving garments.

Requirements

-Reliable, punctual, and dependable.

-Friendly and professional with strong customer service skills.

-Comfortable using a computer and learning a POS system.

-Ability to work independently and stay productive during slower periods.

-Strong attention to detail and cleanliness.

-Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30–40 lbs.

-Previous cleaning, hospitality, retail, laundromat, or customer service experience is a plus, but not required.
