Project Architect - architect / engineer / cad - job employment

Architectural firm specializing in multi-family residential buildings, mixed use, is seeking a talented, and self-motivated individual to join this team.

The position involves contributing to the design, document coordination and management of projects from Schematic Design through Construction documents.

Responsibilities:

• Involvement in multiple projects at all project phases.

• Develop aspects of schematic and design development documents and manage coordination with project consultants.

• Produce construction documentation sets and details in AutoCAD.

• Participate in team meetings.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3-5 years of full-time professional experience from a NYC architecture firm.

• BArch or MArch from an accredited school.

• Ability to work independently on all design phases.

• Knowledge of construction methods and materials related to multi-family is a plus.

• Knowledge of NYC zoning and building code

• Highly proficient with AutoCAD, Rhino, Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, MS Word, and MS Excel.

• Strong graphic, written and verbal communication skills.
